Legal Advantage appoints David Hemperly to Vice President of Business Development
We are excited to announce that David Hemperly has been promoted as Vice President of Business Development, based in the company’s Bethesda, Maryland headquarters. Hemperly will assume business development and marketing responsibilities for the company’s award winning patent illustration, prior art search services, patent and technical translation, and trial graphics services.
Hemperly has eighteen years of experience in leadership roles at the forefront of the legal industry with responsibilities encompassing business development, marketing, and management. Hemperly joined Legal Advantage three years ago and was responsible for establishing and growing sales in the Washington, DC marketplace. He achieved this quickly by listening and responding to client feedback, providing AM Law 200 firms with exceptional customer service. He also assumed national responsibility for marketing and industry events.
Hemperly has held senior sales and marketing positions at a number of legal and marketing service companies, including Peer-Web, Inc., Active Interest Media, Neopost, Inc., and Yellow Book USA. As National Accounts Manager/Sales Manager of Peer-Web, Inc., Mr. Hemperly led successful client accumulation with 200% growth in revenue, and helped the company secure numerous marketing Fortune 1000 customers. In addition, Mr. Hemperly was a Regional Account Manager at Neopost, Inc., a leading supplier of mailing and document handling products to law firms.
